Upscaling of Discrete Fracture Characterization to Dual-Porosity Models Using an Advanced Transfer Function

Abstract: Embedded discrete fracture models (EDFM's) are commonly used to study fluid flow in unconventional reservoirs. The EDFM, however, requires extensive pre-processing of non-neighboring connections.
