Upregulation of CCNB2 and Its Perspective Mechanisms in Cerebral Ischemic Stroke and All Subtypes of Lung Cancer: A Comprehensive Study

Abstract: Cyclin B2 (CCNB2) belongs to type B cell cycle family protein, which is located on chromosome 15q22, and it binds to cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) to regulate their activities. In this study, 103 high-throughput datasets related to all subtypes of lung cancer (LC) and cerebral ischemic stroke (CIS) with the data of CCNB2 expression were collected. The analysis of standard mean deviation (SMD) and summary receiver operating characteristic (SROC) reflecting expression status demonstrated significant up-regulat… Show more

“…CCNB2 belongs to type B cell cycle family protein, which is located on chromosome 15q22. One study has shown that overexpression of CCNB2 is associated with the development and deterioration of colorectal and lung cancer ( 29 ). Our study also verified that the expression of CCNB2 is a risk factor for LUAD.…”

“…Glycoprotein prostaglandin D2 synthase ( PTGDS ) is a member of the lipocalin superfamily and plays dual roles in prostaglandins metabolism and lipid transport. PTGDS has been involved in various cellular processes including the tumorigenesis of solid tumors ( 29 ). Previous study has delineated some germline mutations, including BRCA1/2 mutation.…”

“…CCNB2 often triggers the G2/M transition process by activating CDK 1. [30,31] Downregulation of CCNB2 inhibits cell proliferation and promotes G2/M phase cell cycle arrest. Studies have shown that the dimethyl double muscle can downregulate the expression of CCNB2 to increase the rate of apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.…”

“…Cyclin B2 (CCNB2) is a type B cell cycle family protein, located on chromosome 15q22, which can bind to cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) and regulate its activity. A study found that the expression and distribution of CCNB2 can be used as a modular marker of lung cancer cell proliferation [11]. Another study con rmed that CCNB2 was signi cantly overexpressed in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) compared with adjacent normal lung tissue.…”
