Upgrading of light arabian vacuum bottoms by the CANMET hydrocracking process using a continuous stirred tank reactor: part 1 characterization runs 83-SR-1 to 13

Abstract: A series of CSTR characterization runs using light Arabian vacuum bottoms (LAVB) with 3 wt % of CANMET additive MB-503-W-10 was carried out at LHSV ~0.55 h- 1 and gas recycle rate ~o.045 m3 (at 15°C and 13.9 MPa). Two sets of experiments were performed - one at a constant stirrer speed of 1000 rpm and reactor temperature from 410°C to 460°C and the other set from 500 to 2500 rpm at a constant temperature of 450°C.
