Update on X-Ray Microcalorimeter Arrays Based on Thermal MKIDs (TKIDs)

Abstract

We report progress on the development of x-ray microcalorimeter TKID detector arrays, where each TKID is an independent pixel. We discuss the evolution of the design, the fabrication and the pulse and energy resolution data obtained from the our test devices. We also describe the challenges encountered which drove design decisions.
