Update on the treatment of hypothyroidism

Abstract: Purpose of Review Differentiated thyroid cancer is a malignancy that is rapidly increasing in frequency. As thyroidectomy plays a central role in the treatment of thyroid cancer, it is incumbent on physicians treating this patient group to be well versed in the intricacies of treating hypothyroidism.
