Update on the mosquito fauna (Diptera: Culicidae) distribution in Cabo Verde: occurrence of the species complexes Anopheles gambiae and Culex pipiens (pipiens, quinquefasciatus and their hybrids)

Abstract: In this study, we aimed to update the mosquito species composition and distribution based on a national entomological survey in all municipalities of Cabo Verde. This includes the sibling species of the Culex pipiens complex, namely Cx. pipiens , Cx. quinquefasciatus and their hybrids, in locations where information is not available.
