Introduction: industrial and household operations mostly produce liquid waste that can harm the environment without further processing or processing. "Bella" Apartment is an apartment building located in one of the big cities in Indonesia, called Surabaya. The waste generated from this building comes from household activities such as toilet waste, laundry waste and kitchen waste. The purpose of this study is to minimize costs and increase the income of business owner. Method: This study used a qualitative descriptive method with 3 informants. Results: based on financial analysis over the past 12 months, the management often complains about the high consumption of water so that the total cost of water paid to the water provider becomes higher and the owner's concern for the environment. water used in public facilities is taken from water sources for washing vehicles, washing clothes and other activities. In this study, the design of the Sewage Treatment Plant will be carried out, calculating the installation costs, the savings that can be obtained so that it can increase revenue, how to process secondary waste and maintenance from the sewage treatment plant, and the implementation of the Reverse Logistics concept in handling waste. Conclusion: reduce the amount of operating costs from electricity and Water costs to increase revenue

Water conservation is one aspect of the green building concept. Water conservation includes using a water meter to determine the amount of usage, calculating water use, reducing water use, using plumbing tools/features that can save water use, water recycling processes, alternative water sources, water reservoirs, and efficient use of water. The purpose of this study was to evaluate water conservation aspects in housing in accordance with the provisions of Greenship Homes version 1.0. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method by comparing housing water conservation conditions with Greenship criteria. Based on the results of the study, the evaluation results of the suitability of water conservation aspects in the Perumnas are 52% in total. In each of the criteria for water-saving fixtures, rainwater harvesting criteria, water-saving irrigation criteria, and wastewater management the value is below 50%. It is necessary to make improvements or make some efforts to be able to save and manage water wisely and effectively. These efforts include using a shower in every house, making a simple technology for harvesting rainwater, and installing a grease trap. With these efforts, the suitability evaluation of water conservation aspects in supporting the green building concept in house buildings can be achieved.

Abstrak konsep smart city pada prinsipnya dikembangkan untuk mempercepat penyelesaian permasalahan perkotaan secara cepat, tepat dan efisien, namun pada prakteknya banyak masterplan smart city yang disusun tanpa memperhatikan keunikan atau tematik wilayah perencanaan sesuai dengan potensi yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan konsep water sensitive city pada masterplan smart city Kota Bogor, dimana keduanya memiliki keterkaitan dalam skema pengelolaan air berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Bogor dengan pendekatan penelitian deduktif-kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah evaluasi kebijakan, teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, serta studi kebijakan dan literatur. Pemilihan responden dilakukan secara purposive dengan melibatkan instansi pelaksana kebijakan. Program/kegiatan dalam masterplan smart city dievaluasi berdasarkan kriteria konsep water sensitive city. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konsep water sensitive city belum sepenuhnya masuk dalam kebijakan smart city Kota Bogor. Dari 5 (lima) tahapan yang harus dilalui, hanya 3 (tiga) tahap yang telah dilaksanakan yaitu water supply city, sewered city, dan waterway city. Untuk mencapai kondisi ideal penerapan konsep water sensitive city maka dirumuskan konsep usulan program/kegiatan yang dapat diakomodir dalam Masterplan Smart City Kota Bogor sesuai prinsip pengelolaan sumber daya air.
