“…In addition, Li et al . prepared K-containing spinel-type ZnCo x Fe 2– x O 4 nanoparticles derived from ZnCoFe-LDHs with size in the range of 10–20 nm . The 2 wt % K-promoted ZnCo 0.5 Fe 1.5 O 4 nanoparticles exhibited the C 2 –C 4 olefins selectivity of 36.1% and CO 2 conversion rate of 49.6% under 320 °C and 2.5 MPa.…”

“…As compared to the “methanol-mediated” processes occurring over metal–oxide/zeolite catalysts, CO 2 -FT synthesis exhibits higher yields of olefins and lower selectivity to CO. , The selection of efficient promoters for iron catalysts seems to be the key for the selectivity control of this reaction. Alkaline metals, , copper, , manganese, ,, zinc, ,,, and cobalt have been the most investigated promoters for iron CO 2 -FT catalysts. At the same time, very limited attention has been paid to the promotion of iron CO 2 -FT catalysts with other elements.…”

“…The iron CO 2 -FT catalysts are most commonly promoted with potassium, , Co, Cu, , Mn, ,, and/or Zn. ,,, Much less information is available on the promotion with other elements. Note that unambiguous identification of the most efficient promoters for iron CO 2 hydrogenation catalysts seems challenging.…”

“…The presence of alloy on the catalyst surface promoted the in situ generations of iron-cobalt carbide, Co 2 C and θ-Fe 3 C phases. In addition to activity enhancement, inhibition of both CO 2 methanation and secondary hydrogenation of olefins were observed [132].…”

“…To improve catalyst efficiency in the formation of olefins by CO2 hydrogenation, several alternative methods to precipitation, such as electrospinning, microemulsion or microwave irradiation, were recently employed. Recently, a series of highly efficient ZnCo x Fe 2-x O 4 spinel catalysts were prepared by Xu et al via a single-source layered double hydroxide precursor route [132]. Compared to the bimetallic ZnFe 2 O 4 and ZnCo 2 O 4 systems, the ternary spinel catalyst ZnCo 0.5 Fe 1.5 O 4 showed excellent performance in the hydrogenation of CO 2 to light olefins: at a CO 2 conversion of 49.6%, the selectivity was 36.1%.…”
