“…The literature revealed that, the different kinds of methods have been developed for the synthesis of biologically and spectroscopically active biscoumarin derivatives, specially the catalytic method. Therefore, we attempted to synthesis 4-Hydroxy-3-[(4-hydroxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl) (4-methoxyphenyl) methyl]-2H-chromen-2-one (4-HCMC) dye using acetic acid as a catalyst [1][2].
