Unusual presentation of multiple recurrent cardiac sarcomas as acute acalculous cholecystitis caused by rapid expansion into the right cardiac chamber: report of a case

Abstract: Sarcomas are rare malignant cardiac tumors and their prognosis is extremely poor, with a high recurrence rate despite extensive initial surgical resection. The development of therapeutic alternatives looks bleak for recurrent sarcomas, however, and complete surgical resection is crucial for any hope of survival even for the recurrent patients.
