Different variations have been documented, both in cadaveric dissections (Furnas, 1965;Sañudo et al, 1993;Curry and Kuz, 2000;Ballesteros and Ramirez, 2007;Nayak and Jiji, 2007) and in patients who presented symptoms of nerve compression at the wrist (Jeffery, 1971;Luethke and Dellon, 1992;Netscher and Cohen, 1997;Al-Qattan, 2004;Dimitriou and Natsis, 2007;Aguiar et al, 2008).
