Unusual high coral cover in a Southwestern Atlantic subtropical reef

Abstract: Subtropical Brazilian reefs are commonly composed by rocky frameworks with low coral abundance. Contrarily to most tropical reefs, our knowledge on coral assemblages in subtropical reefs is still developing.
