Unusual case of acquired capillary hemangioma of the eyelid in an adult

Abstract: Acquired capillary hemangioma of the eyelid is very uncommon in adults. To our knowledge, only eight such cases have been reported in the literature till date. We report the case of a 25-year-old female with acquired capillary hemangioma of the left lower eyelid treated by cutting diathermy followed by reconstruction of the cutaneous and cartilaginous defect.
