“…Dans une note récente (Lemercier, 1963), j’ai entrepris de dévelop¬ per une étude détaillée de ce complexe buccal chez deux Choniosto¬ matidae indiscutés : Choniospharea maenadis (Bloch et Gallien) (déjà étudié de faà §on exemplaire par Fischer, 1956) et Sphaeronella sp., ainsi que chez Nicothoe astaci Audouin et Milne-Edwards, parasite remar¬ quable des branchies de Homarus vulgaris Milne-Edwards, afin de sou¬ mettre à une analyse d’anatomie comparée précise l’hypothèse de Gurney (1929) selon laquelle Nicothoe trouve place au sein des Choniosto¬ matidae. En effet, cette hypothèse, approuvée par Bloch et Gallien (1936) et généralement admise depuis (Mason, 1959), n’avait jamais fait l’objet d’un examen rigoureux.…”
