Unstable tilt-rotor maximum likelihood wavelet-based identification from flight test data

Abstract: Purpose The purpose of this paper is to present the methodology that was used to perform system identification of a dynamically unstable tilt-rotor from flight test data. The method incorporated wavelet transform into the maximum likelihood principle formulation, emphasizing both time and frequency responses.
