Abstract:Background The present study aimed to determine the effect of luteolin on the performance of memory and learning in scopolamine-induced Alzheimer in male rats using a Y-shaped maze.Result The mean of spatial memory score declined in the scopolamine group with no change in the motor activity. In addition, luteolin prevented the decline in spatial memory with no alterations in the motor activity.Conclusion Luteolin prevented the scopolamine-induced declines of learning and memory in male rats.
