Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to examine the knowledge level of the rights and responsibilities of individuals who demand service from the hospital. The research population living in Turkey and create the demand for health care services to individuals who are from the hospital. The sample of the study is individuals from the city of Ankara. The sample size of the study was created with an error margin of 0.5 at a 95% confidence level and was determined as 384 people using the relevant formula. The questionnaire application in the study was carried out face to face and electronically. Analyzes were completed by transferring the obtained data and study data to IBM SPSS Statistics 26 program. The study was analyzed with the help of Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis and Bonferroni Tests. According to the results of the study, it was determined that the level of knowledge of the individuals about patient rights and responsibilities is generally high.
