Universal scalar leptoquark action for matching

Abstract: In this study we present a universal effective action for one-loop matching of all scalar leptoquarks. We use both the Universal One-Loop Effective Action (UOLEA) and covariant diagrams to evaluate the Wilson coefficients directly in the Green basis for up to dimension-6 operators. On the technical side, we use the newly developed method of evaluating supertraces, to further validate the results stemming from the use of covariant diagrams. As an application, we perform a fully functional matching onto Standard… Show more

“…The WCs of bosonic operators in a two-Higgs-doublet model have been matched at one-loop in [44]. The one-loop matching of the SM extended by S was performed in [45] and the matching of the SM augmented by both the S and D was completed by [21]. We find general agreement, except for the one-loop finite contribution of the LQ D to c eB in [21], see the discussion around Eq.…”

“…In light of these considerations, the minimal LQ model that induces both dipoles and neutrino masses at one loop and without y e suppression is obtained by extending the SM with two scalar LQ multiplets, a weak doublet, D ∼ (3, 2) 1/6 , and a weak singlet, S ∼ (3, 1) −1/3 . 2 This combination of LQs has recently been studied in [19][20][21], partly with similar motivations to ours. The Lagrangian reads…”
