Unique role of admission hyperglycemia on myocardial infarction size and area at risk following an acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction

Abstract: Background Hyperglycemia can adversely affect patients with acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) in both diabetic and non-diabetic patients.
