Unilateral vulvar swelling in a 7‐year‐old girl

Abstract: A 7-year-old Caucasian girl presented to the dermatology clinic with a two-year history of asymptomatic left labial swelling. Her medical history was notable only for right Legg-Calve-Perthes disease treated with osteotomy. Physical examination revealed diffuse fullness of the left labium majus extending to the suprapubic area with mild follicular prominence overlying the skin (Figure 1). The area was soft and nontender to palpation. There were no masses or nodules
