Unicystic Ameloblastoma Masquerading as Vascular Lesion- A Case Report

Abstract

Ameloblastoma is a benign epithelial tumor of odontogenic origin which shows variations in its presentation that intrigue us. We report a case of unicystic ameloblastoma which presented, clinically and radiographically mimicking features of a vascular lesion. Patient reported with the chief complaint of pain and swelling in his left lower-third of the face. The investigations performed gave a diagnosis dilemma and hence deciding on appropriate investigations played a pivotal role to enable precise diagnosis of the lesion and also facilitated us surgeons to decide on the treatment plan.
