Unexpected paradoxical embolization following catheter-directed thrombectomy with the FlowTriever™ system in a patient with pulmonary embolism: a case report

Abstract: Background The optimal therapy for patients suffering from acute pulmonary embolism classified as intermediate-high-risk still needs to be identified.
