Abstract:This study investigated the exchange affinity of Fe3+, Cu2+, and Zn2+ cations in sulfuric acid-purified montmorillonite (S-MMT) to enhance Lewis acid sites and subsequently improve the catalytic conversion of glucose to lactic acid.
