Understanding hypergammaglobulinemia in experimental or natural visceral leishmaniasis

Abstract: Nonspecific hypergammaglobulinemia (HGG) occurs in symptomatic human visceral leishmaniasis (VL) caused by L. L. infantum. This study assessed this finding in experimental infection in hamsters and natural infection in dogs.
