As the population ages, the number of people living with Alzheimer's disease is expected to grow; consequently, nursing students are expected to care for more people with Alzheimer's disease in their future careers. Exploring nursing students' level of knowledge and attitudes is essential here to fill any knowledge gap and enhance attitudes. For this reason, the current study aimed to measure the knowledge of and attitudes toward people living with Alzheimer's disease among undergraduate Jordanian nursing students. A descriptive cross-sectional design was utilized. Data were collected through an online questionnaire consisting of the Alzheimer's Disease Knowledge Scale (ADKS) and Dementia Attitudes Scale (DAS). A third part contained questions about previous formal education about Alzheimer's disease, reading Alzheimer's research, and the need for formal education about Alzheimer's disease. The study targeted all undergraduate Jordanian nursing students. A total of 275 students agreed to participate and completed the questionnaire. Jordanian nursing students had low knowledge regarding people living with Alzheimer's disease, with a mean ADKS score of 18.3 out of 30; however, their attitudes were positive, with a mean DAS score of 91 out of 140. There was no statistical difference in attitude or knowledge between different academic levels. The majority of students (90.5%) expressed their desire to have a formal education regarding Alzheimer's disease. Knowledge regarding people with Alzheimer's disease could be improved through training and education. Positive attitudes reported by students could augment the learning process.

Background The transition of nursing education from traditional methods to more advanced approaches is crucial for adequately preparing students to deliver competent care in tertiary care centers. Moreover, clinical faculty in nursing plays a key role in guiding nursing students through their clinical training in various healthcare settings. Purpose This study aims to describe the perceptions of undergraduate nursing students regarding the effectiveness of the learning environment and clinical teaching in clinical areas across various countries. Methods The study, conducted using a descriptive, cross-sectional research design, gathered data from 215 nursing students using the Clinical Learning Environment Inventory and Clinical Teaching Effectiveness Instrument. Data analysis included frequencies, percentages, mean, standard deviation, t-tests, analysis of variance, and correlation assessments to comprehend the impact of clinical teaching and learning environments. Results Nursing students’ perceptions of the clinical learning environment produced mean scores between 2.03 and 3.38 on a scale from 1 to 4, resulting in an overall mean score of 2.72 across 42 items. This indicates a general satisfaction with their clinical learning experiences. Regarding effective clinical teaching, the mean student responses varied from 3.02 to 3.40 out of a possible 5 points, with a total mean of 3.22. The study revealed notable correlations in the context of effective clinical teaching, particularly with demographic variables and the clinical learning environment. Specifically, a significant correlation with age ( r = .177, p = .009) and the clinical learning environment ( r = .572, p < .001) was identified. Conclusion The study concludes that students expressed overall satisfaction with their clinical learning experiences. They recognized the importance of participating in clinical training, fulfilling clinical responsibilities for assigned patients, exerting extra effort for learning, receiving support from preceptors in clinical settings, and being attentive to communications from staff. The collaboration between clinical preceptors and academic nursing lecturers is crucial in providing a positive learning environment for students to complete clinical tasks effectively.

Background: Clinical education requires creating a supportive atmosphere for learners and nursing students, who need support to be prepared for their future profession. Nursing students are facing a series of challenges progressively in the clinical practice as well as in the education system. Most of the challenges of the supporting students included problems that are related to students, instructor, staff, patient, hospital facilities. The influence of these challenges is on their learning and practice skills. The findings of this study shows that nursing students face many challenges in the clinical learning environment. The focus of all study was on the student. The participants of the studies were 200 undergraduate nursing students Therefore, the managers of educational and health care centers should give a high priority to their students to support them. Aim of the study:The aim of the study was to assess the level of challenges in clinical learning environment faced by nursing students. Materials and Methods: A Quantitative approach and a descriptive Research Design were used in the study. 200 samples of nursing students were selected by using convenient sampling technique from students of Rayat Bahra College of Nursing Mohali. Self -structured Likert scale was used for data collection and analysis was done by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results:The study shows that levels of challenges were categorized into three degrees: higher degree of challenges (112-150), medium degree of challenges (71-111), and low degree of challenges (30-70). Most students fall into the category of medium degree of challenges (52.5% or 105 individuals), while a significant number of students faced higher degree of challenges (45.5% or 91 individuals), and only a few encounter low degree of challenges (2% or 4 individuals). The maximum score was 150 and the minimum was 30, indicating the range of possible scores in the study. As a result it was clear that this data suggests that the majority of individuals experience a moderate level of challenges in clinical learning environment. Conclusion:The study concludes that nursing students experiences a moderate level of challenges in instructor related area in clinical learning environment. There are considerable challenges that nursing students face in clinical learning environment that can affect their practice and learning. It is essential to plan and improve student's clinical supervision and support at clinical learning environment by their instructors to create skillful nursing students and minimize their challenges. Therefore there should be adequate orientation and ongoing follow-up for students before internship by instructors.
