“…Furthermore, ADS experiments with 100 MeV protons [6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20] obtained from the FFAG accelerator have been carried out to investigate the neutron characteristics of ADS, and the static and kinetic parameters were accurately analyzed through the measurements and the Monte Carlo simulations of reactor physics parameters, including reaction rates, neutron spectrum, subcritical multiplication factor, prompt neutron decay constants and subcriticality. Also, sensitivity and uncertainty analyses of lead (Pb) and bismuth (Bi) isotopes, which are regarded as coolant materials in actual ADS facilities, were conducted by the deterministic and the stochastic calculations by using experimental results [21][22][23][24][25] Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the authors for submitting their excellent manuscripts to the special issue of Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology.
