Unaltered Tonic Inhibition in the Arcuate Nucleus of Diet-induced Obese Mice

Abstract: The principal inhibitory transmitter, γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), is critical for maintaining hypothalamic homeostasis and released from neurons phasically, as well as from astrocytes tonically.
