Abstract

From the second post-war period to the 1950s, the Pioneers of Italy Association proposed a program of pedagogical activism to manage holiday camps to municipalities and left-wing associations. The method adopted constitutes an advanced system of collaboration between adults and childrens, of civic training according to socialist values, of education methods to make children understand society and the surrounding environment through group play. For decades it will have significant repercussions in playful-recreational facilities for children.
