Un modelo colegiado de vida organizacional: el caso del Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas de la UNAM

Abstract

The investigation in Mexico, is mostly conducted at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Indeed, the UNAM has one of the research centers in humanities with better indicators in investigation with respect to: number of publications, number of investigators in the register of the National System of Researchers (SNI by the initials in spanish) of Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT) and greater entailment with its discipline and field of legal sciences. It is the Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas (IIJ). Its way of work and organizational atmosphere has a collegiate model of organization.This institute develops to an ample entailment with its disciplinary field and an extension of the planned knowledge. The results of this study were analyzed qualitatively using a case study. Three techniques of investigation were used: participant observation, interviews and documentary analysis. The investigator was introduced into the organization during three months and ten days. During this period of time the life of investigators in constitutionalist area at the institute of the UNAM was observed using: daily notes of field; interviews with investigators, directors, assistants of investigation and administrative personnel; also, the annual information of management were compiled and analyzed.
