Abstract:Aim: Excessive increase of weight followed by massive weight loss distorts the shape of the umbilicus as part of the affected skin of the abdomen. There is usually discrepancy between the elongated umbilicus at the time the patient was gaining excessive weight and the thinned abdominal wall after the massive weight loss.
