Um estudo sobre a localização industrial do estado de São Paulo

Abstract

O presente artigo objetivou analisar a localização industrial paulista através do valor adicionado fiscal municipal para o ano de 2005, utilizando técnicas de econometria espacial. Pretendeu-se verificar o comportamento de elementos espaciais, como a autocorrelação espacial e a heterogeneidade espacial. Buscou-se relacionar a localização da indústria com variáveis explicativas como o nível de educação, custo de transporte e investimentos públicos para a atração de indústrias. Com o intuito de verificar a existência de clusters utilizou-se o I de Moran local e percebeu-se a presença de dois clusters do tipo alto-alto, sendo um na região metropolitana de São Paulo e o outro na região de Campinas. Foi verificada também a presença de clusters do tipo baixo-baixo, o primeiro formado por municípios do Sudoeste paulista, o segundo pelo Oeste e Noroeste paulista.

Hence, in the last period, these causes of death became concentrated in the most industrialized and urbanized municipalities in Southeastern of the state 40 . The same analyses are valid for external causes of death, which are highly positive correlated with degrees of urbanization 41 , because urbanized municipalities usually present increasing risks of deaths due to traffic accidents and homicides 42 .…”
