“…Nano-arrayed SnO 2 thin films are required for this purpose which is achieved by spray pyrolytic deposition. SnO 2 nano-obelisk arrayed thin films are prepared on silicon substrates following the method adopted in our previous work for the deposition of SnO 2 nano-arrayed thin films [66]. The distribution of Ag nanocaps over SnO 2 nano-obelisk arrays determines the density of hot spots which is responsible for the EM enhancement contributing towards the SERS effect.…”
