Abstract:ABSTRACT. The ultrastructure of detergent-resistant cytoskeletons in the noncortical cytoplasm of sea urchin eggs was studied by quick-freeze, deep-etch electron microscopy. Twodifferent cytoskeletal organizations were identified in the detergent-treated sea urchin eggs.
