Abstract:The ultrastructure of microgametogenesis of Eimeria bakuensis was studied in the intestinal epithelium of an experimentally infected sheep. During development the nuclei became situated peripherally in the microgamont. Nuclear chromatin condensed into peripheral, dense portions that became the nuclei of the microgametes.
