Abstract: RESUMO:A ultrassonografia, até recentemente, não era um método de imagem muito utilizado para a avaliação torácica devido a sua limitação na avaliação de lesões torácicas localizadas abaixo de coleções gasosas em indivíduos com tecido pulmonar normal assim como com pneumotórax.
