Abstract:Intraocular pressure rise is a common complication after neodymium:yttrium-aluminum-garnet (Nd-YAG) laser posterior capsulotomy. Although in most cases it is related to an inflammatory response, there are other possible mechanisms such as misdirection syndrome and pupillary block.
