Abstract:Gallbladder emptying studies using ultrasonography were performed on ten normal dogs, one normal control dog, three dogs with biliary obstruction and three dogs with nonobstructive hepatobiliary disease. An intravenous bolus of a synthetic cholecystokinin was used to induce emptying.
