“…Se produce una pérdida de ductilidad y perdida de resistencia a la tracción (Eiras et al, 2012;Enfedaque, Paradela, Sánchez-Gálvez, et al, 2012;Itterbeeck et al, 2009a;Li et al, 2021;On Static and Dynamic Snap-Throughs of the Imperfect Post-Buckled FG-GRC Sandwich Beams -ScienceDirect, n.d.) y surge una degradación de las propiedades debido al ataque químico por los álcalis y el crecimiento de productos de hidratación del cemento, que aumentan la adherencia de la fibra matriz fragilizando el material (Proctor, 1990). Dentro del avance de la investigación se ha cualificado el referente del envejecimiento producido por exposición natural al medio ambiente del GRC en investigaciones realizadas por: (Enfedaque et al, 2015b;Ferreira & Branco, 2007;Genovés et al, 2015;Majumdar & Nurse, 1974;Purnell & Beddows, 2005a) En estas investigaciones se ha descubierto un envejecimiento que produce la fragilización del material generado por el ataque del álcali de cemento a la fibra de vidrio y el crecimiento de productos de hidratación en el cemento sobre las fibras, lo que genera el rompimiento de estas (Eiras, 2008;Enfedaque et al, 2017a;Litherland et al, 1981) Por esta problemática se han desarrollado fibras de vidrio con composiciones más resistentes que prevengan la deformación y mitiguen el crecimiento por productos de hidratación además de algunos aditivos a la matriz que permitan disminuir el envejecimiento.…”
