“…The thickness of the Co–C nanosheets prepared in this work is smaller than their diameter, and the surface roughness is very small, the surface roughness of Fe 1 Co 1.1 Ni 1.4 -C films is greater than that of the Co–C nanosheets. The different roughnesses of the Fe 1 Co 1.1 Ni 1.4 -C films and the Co–C nanosheets lead to different optimum covering thicknesses of amorphous carbon.…”

“…To assess the OER performance of Fe 1 Co 1.1 Ni 1.4 -C films and Co–C nanosheets, a series of electrocatalytic experiments were carried out using standard Ag/AgCl electrodes and Pt wires as reference and counter electrodes, respectively, and carbon cloth-supported Fe 1 Co 1.1 Ni 1.4 -C films (0.36 cm –2 , 2.58 × 10 –6 g) or Co–C nanosheets (0.056 cm –2 , 1.37 × 10 –7 g, detailed calculation methods for the area and mass of Co–C nanosheets deposited on carbon cloth substrates were given in our previous work) as working electrodes in 1.0 M KOH . RuO 2 film and commercial RuO 2 loaded on carbon cloth were used as benchmark catalysts for comparison.…”
