Ultrafast Nonlinear Optics in Hollow Fibers.

Abstract: The use of hollow-core optical fibers in ultrafast nonlinear optics opens up the way to provide favorable conditions in the interaction between optical waves and gaseous media. The fundamental properties of optical waves propagating in a hollow fiber and various nonlinear phenomena generated inside the fiber are described.
