Abstract:We introduce a diode-based laser with a fast frequency noise of 30 Hz²/Hz, corresponding to a Lorentzian linewidth of 100 Hz. We examine its characteristics in detail. Our focus is on exploring the variations and similarities in frequency noise and linewidth reduction.
