Ukemi: quantity, rate and distribution in judo training sessions

Abstract: Introduction: Break-falls (ukemi) are the most frequently used skills in judo training session. This study aimed to analyze the quantity, the rate and distribution of ukemi in training sessions. Materials and Methods: This study was approved by the UDESC Research Ethics Committee (32/2004).
