Vermischt man das Phenyl-P-naphtacridin in warmer Eisessigliisung mit etwas concentrirter Schwefelsaure , so entstehen beim Erkalten lange, zu Biischeln vereinigte, gelbe Krystallnadeln, welche mit etwas Eisessig, dann Alkohol abgewaschen oder auch ohne Weiteres durch wiederholtes Abpressen gereinigt wurden.
