Communication through voice call leads to significant growth in technology in distant areas where two or more people from opposite ends of world will connect. This research describes a case study of voice call transfer service. This research aims at designing a system that will allow Android users to communicate over Wi-Fi. This design is able to transfer voice of incoming telephone caller over Wi-Fi network at real time through UDP. It uses client/server architecture: Server for receiving telephone call and transferring voice (one user) and client for receiving incoming caller voice and enables communication with server. Architecture designed could be used on Android smart phones with telephony enabled and tablets with telephony not enabled. Outcome of this research will allow users to communicate on real time at no cost. Proposed design gives cost effective, reliable and real time voice communication over Wi-Fi. It provides good and comfort experience to users in emergency situation where user cannot effort cost for telephone call. Proposed design is useful for educational organizations, construction buildings, shopping malls and hospitals which point to new possibilities for voice communication.

Communication is essential for human beings and we communicate globally with the means of internet every day. Internet is an interconnected mesh of networks where our data is transferred through hundreds of nodes before reaching its destination. As the intermediary network node increases, the risk of losing confidentiality and integrity is also affected. Decentralized Chat (DChat) is a chat service on the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) peer-to-peer protocol where users can communicate with ephemeral chats under any anonymous alias. The users are not aware of real identity of each other and the chats are lost from the service once the node is disconnected. The data is tamper-resistant because to alter it would change the hash and invalidate it from the network. Here we aim to develop a secure chat service that provides anonymity and ephemeral chats using cost-effective IPFS technology.

Keyed User Datagram Protocol: Concepts and Operation of an Almost Reliable Connectionless Transport Protocol

Departing from the well-known problem of the excessive overhead and latency of connection oriented protocols, this paper describes a new almost reliable connectionless protocol that uses user datagram protocol (UDP) segment format and is UDP compatible. The problem is presented and described, the motivation, the possible areas of interest and the concept and base operation modes for the protocol named keyed UDP are presented (here called KUDP). Also, discussed are some of the possible manners in which the KUDP can be used, addressing potential problems related with current networking technologies. As UDP is a connectionless protocol, and KUDP allows for some degree of detection of loss and re-ordering of segments received out-of-sequence, we also present a proposal for a stream reconstruction algorithm. This paper ends by mentioning some of the research issues that still need to be addressed.INDEX TERMS User datagram protocol, almost reliable protocol, data transmission statistics in UDP, algorithms for data traffic.
