This is more plausible hut also here we have several possibili ties (Fuelh, 1922;Nürnberger, 1926: Freund, 1933Bucura, 1933): (a) By means of mechanical pressure: The echinococcus cyst in the peritoneal cavity exercises a pressure and perforates the uterine wall -this happens especially after delivery (Nürnberger, 1926) similar to the perforating of the bronchus, the rectum , urinary bladder, intestines, vaginal wall etc. (b) After the bursting of m other cysts into the peritoneum, the scolex or daughter cysts are im planted on the serosa of the uterus and invade the uterine wall (Lehmann, 1928), possibly perforate it and enter the uterine cavity, (e) The possible third way is the infestation of the uterine cavitv through the tubes (Nürnberger, 1926).…”
