Über die thermische Persistenz von krystallin‐flüssigen Phasen

Abstract: Bekanntlich bildet p-Azoxy-anisol eine der am leichtesten zuganglichen und daher am besten untersuchten krystallin-fliissigen (kr. fl.) Phasen; zwischen dem Schmelzpunkt von 1 1 6 O und dem Klarpunkt von 134O besitzt die kr. fl. Form einen stabilen Existenzbereich von 18O. p-Azo-anisol dagegen schmilzt bei 165O amorph-fliissig und bildet erst im unterkiihlten Gebietl) eine unbequem zu handhabende kr. fl. Phase.
