Über das Verhalten von Magensäuresekretion und morphologischem Magenschleimhautbefund bei Rosacea

Abstract: Fifty patients with rosacea, 34 female and 16 male, had gastric mucosal biopsies and estimations of their gastric acidity following the injection of 0.02 mg of histamine-dichlorhydrate/kg body weight. Their findings were compared with two control groups, each of 100 individuals without skin disorders. Using the χ2 test no differences were found with either of these groups. These results accord with numerous other authors who failed to show any significant change in the gastric secretion in rosacea.
