UAV Collision Avoidance and Path Planning in Commercial Airspace

Abstract: This paper presents an investigation into the application of a collision avoidance algorithm for use in Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV) in commercial airspace. It outlines the developments within the unmanned sector of aircraft regulations, highlighting some of the studies and methodologies being developed in Europe and in the United States.
