“…In a cohort study in 2016, the relationship between 25(OH)D levels and long-term mortality in patients with acute MI was nonlinear and U-shaped. For those who had 25(OH)D level of <10 ng/mL and >30 ng/mL, the estimated hazard rate was 3.02 times higher compared to those with level 20-30 ng/mL [34].
