The Tamboril-Santa Quitéria Complex (TSQC) is one of the largest Neoproterozoic plutonic manifestations in the north Borborema Province (NE Brazil). It represents an anatectic/igneous association characterized by a number of magmatic pulses that occurred in the 650-610 Ma interval. In this paper, we present U-Pb (LA-MC-ICP-MS) zircon ages and Nd isotopes for quartz monzonites and quartz diorites of the southern part of TSQC. The quartz monzonites belong to a hybrid granitoid association, including monzonites, syenites and quartz syenites, all with abundant mafic magmatic enclaves. A quartz monzonite sample yielded a U-Pb zircon age of 634 ± 10 Ma and a TDM age of 2.69 Ga. The quartz diorites are much more homogeneous in composition and yielded a U-Pb zircon age of 618 ± 23 Ma and a TDM age of 2.19 Ga. The presence of coeval mantle-derived magmatism and diatexites (crustal anatexis) post-dating high-pressure metamorphism (ca. 650 Ma), and together with high-temperature metamorphism (ca. 630-610 Ma), suggests that this large magmatic manifestation evolved in a collisional setting, probably related to slab breakoff during the Western Gondwana amalgamation.Keywords: Borborema Province; Neoproterozoic magmatism; Continental collision. ResumoO Complexo Tamboril Santa-Quitéria (CTSQ) é uma das maiores manifestações plutônicas do Neoproterozoico na porção norte da Província Borborema (NE Brasil). Corresponde a uma associação granito-migmatítica envolvendo granitoides diversos no intervalo de 650-610 Ma. Neste trabalho, são apresentadas idades U-Pb (LA-MC-ICP-MS) em zircão e isótopos de Nd para quartzo-monzonitos e quartzo-dioritos da porção sul do CTSQ. Os quartzo-monzonitos fazem parte de uma associação de granitoides híbridos, incluindo monzonitos, sienitos e quartzo-sienitos, todos com abundante ocorrência de enclaves máficos magmáticos. Para uma amostra de quartzo-monzonito, foram obtidas idade U-Pb em zircão de 634 ± 10 Ma e idade TDM de 2,69 Ga. Os quartzo-dioritos são bem mais homogêneos em composição, e, para uma amostra, foram obtidas idade U-Pb em zircão de 618 ± 23 Ma e TDM de 2,19 Ga. A presença simultânea de magmatismo com afinidade mantélica e diatexitos (fusão crustal), após o metamorfismo de alta-pressão (ca. 650 Ma) e junto com o metamorfismo de alta temperatura (ca. 630 -610 Ma), sugere que esta grande manifestação magmática evoluiu em um ambiente colisional, provavelmente associado ao processo de slab breakoff durante a amalgamação da porção oeste do supercontinente Gondwana.Palavras-chave: Província Borborema; Magmatismo neoproterozoico; Colisão continental.

(NE-Brasil), apresenta um padrão de interferência em cogumelo resultante da evolução de sucessivos eventos de dobramentos. Estes dobramentos ocorreram pela superposição de três eventos de deformação dúctil (D 1 -D 3 ). D 1 é caracterizado por nappes com vergência e cavalgamentos para sul. D 2 é marcado pela reativação coaxial de D 1 , tem um caráter transpressivo e é o principal evento colisional na faixa. Foram mapeados dois grupos de granitos alojados durante D 2 : o Tonalito Camará pré a cedo-D 2 , com idade U-Pb SHRIMP em zircão de 628±12 Ma, considerada a idade máxima para o início de D 2 . O outro grupo é formado por granitos sin a tardi-D 2 . Foram obtidas duas idades U-Pb TIMS em titanita para estes granitos; 584±10 Ma para o Granito Angico sin-D 2 e 571±9 Ma para o Granito Pedra Furada tardi-D 2 . Utilizando estas idades tem-se que D 2 esteve em operação por pelo menos 57 Ma na Faixa Sergipana. D 3 é o último evento de deformação dúctil na estrutura de interferência, iniciando-se após 571 Ma quando a faixa experimentou um grande soerguimento em resposta a uma compressão em um regime rúptil a dúctil-rúptil. D 4 encerra a orogenia neoproterozóica na região e é caracterizado pela ocorrência de estruturas rúpteis. D 3 e D 4 são os responsáveis pela exumação da estrutura de interferência de Nossa Senhora de Lourdes para níveis crustais mais rasos e pela atual arquitetura crustal desta região da Faixa Sergipana.Palavras-chave: Faixa Sergipana, domínio Macururé, evolução estrutural, granitos colisionais, geocronologia U-Pb.Abstract Tectonic-chronologic evolution of the Nossa Senhora de Lourdes interference structure, Sergipano Belt, NE-Brazil. The Nossa Senhora de Lourdes structure is a regional dome-crescent-mushroom pattern in the Macururé domain of the Sergipano belt. It marks the interference of successive folding events that have occurred by the overprinting of three ductile deformation episodes (D 1 -D 3 ), each of them followed or crosscut by distinct granite plutons. D 1 is characterized by south-verging nappes and thrust zones. D 2 is marked by coaxial reactivation of D 1 , has a transpressive character and is the main deformation event in the belt. There are two groups of granites emplaced during D 2 : the pre-to early D 2 Camará tonalite with a U-Pb SHRIMP zircon age of 628±12 Ma which is considered the maximum age for the onset of D 2 . The other group is the syn-to tardi-D 2 granites for which two U-Pb TIMS titanite ages were obtained, namely, 584±10 Ma for the syn-D 2 Angico granite and 571±9 Ma for the tardi-D 2 Pedra Furada granite. Using these ages, D 2 has been in operation in the Sergipano Belt for at least 57 million years. D 3 is the last ductile deformation event in the interference structure and it took place after 571 Ma when the belt experienced a high amount of uplift in response to compression in a brittle to ductile-brittle regime. Occurrence and geochemistry of metamafic rocks from the Forquilha Eclogite Zone, central Ceará (NE Brazil): geodynamic implications

In the northern region of the Borborema Province, a 30 km-long mafic/ultramafic belt of high pressure (HP) rocks called the Forquilha Eclogite Zone has been recently discovered in the Central Domain of Ceará State. The belt comprises three groups of rocks: (1) garnet amphibolites, (2) retrograded eclogites and (3) clinopyroxene-garnet amphibolites, all of them being hosted in garnet AE kyanite þ sillimanite schists and orthogneisses which are often migmatized. The geochemical analyses of 30 representative samples confirm differences among the three groups that were initially classified by petrography. The garnet amphibolites are the most depleted rocks, with relatively flat rare earth element (REE) PM pattern and (SPIDER) PM pattern with negative Rb, Th, Nb, Sr and Zr anomalies. It is the most fractionated group, ranging from picrobasalts to andesites. Fractional crystallization and mineral accumulation are indicated by Eu and Sr anomalies. The data show geochemical affinities with island-arc basalts. The retrograded eclogites display flat (REE) PM , but without Eu anomalies. Nb/La ratios are low and variable, as for slightly enriched MORB from ocean floor or intra-oceanic back-arc environments. However, a genetic link with the Group 1 rocks cannot be completely discarded. The clinopyroxene-garnet amphibolites are the most enriched group. (REE) PM and (SPIDER) PM patterns show many features of alkaline basalts. In the Nb/Yb versus Th/Yb diagram the data cluster near the E-MORB standard. Several geochemical aspects of these rocks fit well those from the HP/UHP Pan-African/Brasiliano Suture Zone in the Dahomeyides/Hoggar regions of West Africa. However, differences in their extent and lack of alignment preclude a direct correlation among these zones.
